Lawn and Landscape Care / Mosquito Control

Tulip Grove Landscaping LLC provides two types of Mosquito Control.

Barrier Control:
Barrier Treatments are done every 21-30 Days and are designed to kill mosquitoes and disrupt breeding habits. They are systemic, meaning they will last up to a month, depending on weather conditions.
Our barrier spray chemical(s) used are synthetic (pyrethrins).  Pyrethrin's are insecticides that are produced from a naturally occurring compound called pyrethrum found in chrysanthemum flowers. Pyrethroids are commonly  used in consumer products that are used to control insects such as household pests, pet shampoos/sprays, and lice shampoo applied to the scalp. Our standard barrier spray treatment is effective on other pests including ticks/fleas and flies as well.

Organic treatment is done every 14 days and is a repellant only. This is meant to disrupt mosquito habitat and have them move away from your property. This is done at closer intervals due how quickly it dissipates.

  • Fill in low areas in lawns where rainwater may collect and stand for more than seven days.
